Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing linens from all guest checkouts to ensure that apartments are always guest-ready. This role plays a critical part in maintaining cleanliness and comfort across all our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort used linens (bed sheets, towels, pillowcases, etc.) from guest checkouts by type and color before washing.
- Operate commercial washing and drying machines safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report issues to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Fold, organize, and properly store clean linens for future apartment turnovers.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laundry room and equipment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines during laundry handling.
- Support the housekeeping team in ensuring a smooth and efficient turnover process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping roles (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Physically fit and able to lift laundry bags and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
